    WIFFA Members from Xiamen and Shanghai Ports Held Matchmaking Meeting In June 18, WIFFA members from Xiamen and Shanghai ports successfully held matchmaking meeting in Xiamen. 70 participants from WIFFA Xiamen and Shanghai ports attended the meeting. The meeting is co-hosted by WIFFA Xiamen and Shanghai ports and got great support from China 21st Century Logistics Times and played a part in the Fifth China Cross-Straits Logistics Collaboration Forum.

    Yang Yan, WIFFA Assistant Secretary General, delivered speech on behalf of WIFFA President Kang Shuchun to express the good vision of committing to the development of financial logistics. WIFFA Xiamen Port Chairman Chen Minghu and Shanghai Port Chairman Ge Shangen reviewed the cooperation between WIFFA Xiamen Port and Shanghai Port in the first half year, and described the future direction of cooperation. They also exchanged with guests participating the Fifth China Cross-Straits Logistics Collaboration Forum on the overall situation of WIFFA.
    Subsequently, Xiamen and Shanghai member representatives respectively introduced their business characteristics and needs. Forum guests had a heated discussion of the business environment and direction of development for freight forwarding companies in Shanghai and Xiamen ports, and expressed their opinions on how to achieve competitive survival and sustainable development. Their lively discussion brought a lot of new inspiration to the guests present.

     

    Business representatives introduce company's needs and advantages

    Following the frequent WIFFA cross-port matchmaking this year, the form of matchmaking tends to become more pragmatic and focused. The participating companies all follow the principle of contributing to the organization to create a culture of integrity and mutual assistance. In the second half of the year, WIFFA members will be more committed to working together on large commercial projects and strive to explore more source of profit for members.
